Did Obama Really Pick a Pro-War VP?

Did Obama Really Pick a Pro-War VP?

Obama's entire candidacy has centered on his initial opposition to the Iraq war, and his condemnation of "Washington thinking" and "Washington judgment" that led us into the war. For him to choose someone who, like Hillary,  backed the war resolution and took a cautious line about withdrawal just seems to make a mockery of what he claims to be about in his campaign.

So we ask Did Obama Really Pick a Pro-War VP?

One of those things that make you go Hmmmmmmmmmm....

According to Fox News and CNN they are reporting that is is official, Biden is Obama’s choice, though they haven’t been told directly.  Biden might have some explaining to do.

He told FOX News’ Alan Colmes on Aug. 10, 2007, that he didn’t want the job. “I am not running for vice president,” Biden said at a time he still was a candidate for president. “I would not accept it if anyone offered it to me. The fact of the matter is I would much prefer to stay as the chairman of the foreign relations committee than vice president.”

Now that he has been chosen and if he accepts then he must feel he has sufficiently recovered from the scandal that ensued when we was running for President in the 1988 election. He was forced to quit after getting caught copying a British politician's speech.  In this race once again, he did not get off to such a good footing or might we say, he put his foot in his mouth?

“I mean, you got the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy. I mean, that’s a storybook, man.” - Joe Biden

Then came this one,

Yikes! Ok we don't always learn from our mistakes quickly! I would like a rephrase here. Did Obama Really Pick a Pro-War VP, with his foot constantly in his mouth?

Last but not least, here we have Obama, Biden and others praising John McCain.

Speak Now America! we want to hear from you!
