Nominee Believes In Making Policy Not Interpreting It



Socialist Barack Hussein Obama’s nominee for the Supreme Court has a tremendous and inspirational story.  Judge Sonya Sotomayor has come up the hard way.  For this everyone should give her credit and praise, however this doesn’t make her the right nominee for Supreme Court Judge.

Judge Sotomayor is of Hispanic descent. By nominating her; socialist Obama is killing two birds with one stone. She is Hispanic and she is female. However, again neither of which make her the right nominee for Supreme Court Judge.

Judge Sotomayor has been overturned by the Supreme Court 80% of the time that her decisions have gone to that court. She has been reprimanded and rebuked in writing by Hispanic Judge José Cabranes.  Judge Cabranes reprimanded her for opinions that she wrote that had no bearing on the constitutional issues before her in the case that was being decided.

As a judge, Sotomayor said, “All of the legal defense funds out there, they are looking for people with Court of Appeals experience because it is – Court of Appeals is where policy is made. And I know, and I know this is on tape, and I should never say that because we don't make the law, I know.  (laughing) Okay, I know.  I know.  I'm not promoting it and I'm not advocating it.  I'm -- you know. (laughing).

America with that quote Judge Sotomayor summed up her and socialist Obama's beliefs. They believe that judges should be making policy from the bench. That way, if you can’t get the legislature to pass the laws that you want then you do it from the court bench.

The socialist Obama is supposed to be a constitutional lawyer. In placing blame on President Bush for Gitmo and saying that harsh interrogation techniques were wrong; socialist Obama draped himself in the Constitution. Obama needs to get a better understanding of the Constitution when he does he will know that judges don't make policy they interpret and uphold the laws of America.
